Responsibilities
Provide high quality patient care in conjunction with fellow team members during transport between
facilities
Perform assessment and stabilization of patients as well as any necessary diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
Assure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; making or recommending necessaryadjustments by collaborating with team members and multidisciplinary members
Participate in decision-making and partners with the multidisciplinary team to enhance operational efficiency
Complete all appropriate medical documentation
May be required to drive an ambulance to transport patients and / or supplies
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration :
Advanced Life Support obtained within Months ( days) of hire date or job transfer date requiredAmerican Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
BLS Provider obtained within Month ( days) of hire date or job transfer date required American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
Drivers License preferred
Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
Education :
Diploma from an accredited school / college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire Minimum qualification : Three years of experience in Emergency Department and / or ICU
