ARS Truck & Fleet Service Looking for Talent Acquisition & Retention Specialist at New Castle, DE Full Time

The TALENT ACQUISITION & RETENTION SPECIALIST will be a central figure between all of ARS’s divisions and perform many HR administrative tasks. Working under the Human Resource Generalist, this role will manage the recruitment and employee relations for our mechanical division and body shop. This position will be our main “cheerleader” among staff internally, and externally to applicants while promoting our WE LEAD principles and core values. Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Managing recruitment, pre-screening of applicants, and scheduling interviews with hiring managers to fill open vacancies.
• Manage, write, and keep job descriptions and pay scales up-to-date for all divisions.
• Be the primary liaison for our FleeTrain program and work with area vo-tech schools to attract and retain new talent in the mechanical and body shop divisions.
• Work with the Marketing & Brand Manager with advertising open positions and employee reputation management internally and online across LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, and other platforms.
• Work with the Marketing & Brand Manager to plan external events for employees, career fairs, or company recognitions.
• Represent the company at career fairs and vo-tech schools.
• Assist HR with on-boarding, training, and supporting employees in their first 90 days with the company.
• Assist HR with employee incentive programs such as Golden Wrench and other recognitions.
• Assist with other HR-related tasks as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.S. in Business, Human Resources or closely related field.
• SHRM or similar credentials preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in recruiting or related HR experience preferred.
