Armstrong Transport Group, LLC Looking for Account Manager – Transportation Logistics at Acworth GA Full Time

We Know Logistics, an independent agent for Armstrong Transport Group, is a third-party logistics firm that provides transportation and logistics services to our customers nationwide. We are currently seeking to hire an account manager to join our dynamic team.

There is unlimited income potential through a combination of salary and commission based on monthly sales. This position is an ideal fit for someone that has experience in the third-party logistics industry. The ideal candidate is comfortable selling to new customers while managing their current book of business. An experienced operations team will be assigned to your account to source and manage carriers on every load. The corporate office in Charlotte, NC will handle credit, collections, claims, and billing on each load to allow you to focus on your customers and business.

Responsibilities

• Service customers’ needs for logistics and shipping throughout North America.
• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
• Understand customer needs and requirements for their specific business and product.
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Participate in pricing and rating of freight with the team at We Know Logistics
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule

• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
• Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills

Qualifications

• Experience in third-party logistics (2 years), customer sales preferred
• Portable book of business preferred, but not required.
• High School Diploma required – Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Experience implementing and running new sales channels
• Creative thinking and seeking innovative solutions to complex business problems
• Experience working with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Gmail
