Job Description Position Summary: The AMT HR team is looking for a driven Human Resource, Intern to join the team. This role can provide the right candidate a unique opportunity to learn and experience many different roles within human resources. The intern’s primary focus will be to assist with updating the AMT company handbook in partnership with the HR Manager and HR Specialist and shadowing in areas of talent acquisition, HR operations, employee engagement and development. Shadowing Opportunities & Focuses: Assist with researching and updating AMT company handbook Partner with the HR specialist to review and update job descriptions Learn and troubleshoot Applicant & Onboarding Tracking System (Greenhouse) Understanding end to end process from interview coordination to onboarding employees Understand and familiarize AMT company programs and policies Attend values committee meetings and provide ideas to improve company culture Assist with administering the employee engagement survey Preferred Education: Obtained or pursuing a master’s degree in either human resource management, organizational development, business administration or related field. Obtained or pursuing a bachelor’s degree in either human resource management, organizational development, business administration or related field (ideally, in 3rd or 4th year). Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and E-mail Detail Oriented Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills Effective written and communication skills Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Problem Solving capabilities necessary to accomplish duties and tasks of the position AMT is an equal opportunity employer.
