American Public Education, Inc (APEI) is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack (CMS) who will provide solution design, development, and support of applications and environments steeped in .Net, Angular, NodeJS, REST API’s and SQL Server by helping to launch and support the next generation CMS digital platform that’s the future of our company. The Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack (CMS) should be self-motivated, and adept in performing engineering responsibilities within a deadline and fast-paced environment. Proven and experienced full stack developer with extensive experience of multiple back-end languages, JavaScript frameworks, API development, and custom plugins and tools. She/he will be responsible for working on full software development life cycle efforts using agile methodologies, solid design patterns and practices. The Senior Engineer may lead, mentor, and assist other team members to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis/resolution of application issues that impact workforce productivity. They will also partner with IT, Marketing, and other Business teams to identify, define, analyze and implement changes and enhancements with high scalability, performance, and availability (24×7) in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
