Minimum Requirements:
Must be able to obtain and maintain MRPT facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for MRPT facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
Requires 3 years of experience on major litigation support projects or undergraduate degree.
Prior experience in the legal environment is required.
Must be able to work independently in a team environment.
Excellent writing and oral communication skills are required.
Requires hands-on familiarity with the Government’s office and network environment, including but not limited to, data processing environments, including office automation networks, PC-based databases and other applications, internet and server-based databases and other applications, such as Oracle, Relativity or other document review platform, Trial Director, etc.
Must be knowledgeable user of the Government’s office and network environment, including but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheet, imaging, and hardware systems.
Must have experience conducting legal research using databases such as Lexis, Westlaw or Pacer.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources preferred.
This position supports a SCA (Service Contract Act) contract; therefore, the hourly wage is determined by the Department of Labor. This position is classified as a Paralegal/Legal Assistant I and the hourly wage is $24.29/hr and is eligible for Health and Welfare.
