Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and technical support for Rotary Chamber and other flexible plastic packaging equipment at customer facilities using Amcor materials.

• Represent Amcor to customers, help customers maximize the value that Amcor packaging system solutions bring.

• Assist with the installation of Amcor equipment and provide customers with training on proper operation and maintenance of equipment.

• Complete and submit all necessary documentation and reports for assigned field activities, maintain customer records.

• Inform customers of safety regulations, technical information, modifications and improvements.

• Assists sales in supporting new products and opportunities.

Capabilities/Experience

• Education : High School Degree, Associate’s Degree or equivalent technical school diploma in electrical or mechanical technology or similar discipline preferred. Megatronics training and certification preferred.

• Experience: Position will provide onsite equipment service for Rotary Vacuum Chamber and other flexible plastic packaging equipment located in protein processor plants.

• Physical Demands : The duties of this position require that the associate be able to drive, stand, walk, use hands to manipulate tools and parts, or feel, stoop, kneel, talk, hear and have good near and far vision acuity and effective depth perception. This position requires the Associate be able to climb and balance, and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.

• Other: Associate must be self-motivated with p rofessional attitude and excellent time management, computer, communication and organizational skills and have ability to work cross functionally with Sales in support of new opportunities and to capture value created through service activities and special projects.
