Work Hours/Shifts:

FT Days Interventional Cath Lab

You Will Be Responsible For:

• Identifies and communicates any changes in the patient’s status
• Interprets, evaluates and implements physician orders in a timely manner
• Addresses educational needs of patients and their families
• Is able to assist with Cath Lab, IR and Non-invasive procedures as needed
• Able to provide post procedure hemostasis and correctly apply post procedure dressing
• Rotates weekends and nights for call department needs
• Responsible for transporting patients to and from department

Qualifications

What You Will Need:

• ASN degree
• Current GA RN license
• Current BLS & ACLS
• Moderate sedation competency
• Critical care skills required
• Experience with PCI & STEMI call required

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse os responsible for appropriate and safe care of patients in the Cath Lab, IR Lab, Cath/IR Recovery and Non-Invasive areas.
