The Health and Wellness Benefits Manager is responsible for the day-to-day administration, vendor management, compliance, service delivery and team member communications and engagement for the company’s Health and Wellness benefit programs, which include: medical, RX, dental, vision, EAP, wellness and a full array of ancillary benefit programs and point solutions. The Health and Wellness Benefits Manager collaborates with the Director of Benefits, the VP of Total Rewards and 3rd-party consultants to develop the Health and Wellness benefit strategy and design and owns the end-to-end implementation of new plans and vendors and changes to existing plans. The Health and Wellness Benefits Manager partners with the Finance team to monitor the plans’ financial performance and acts as a liaison between Finance and the plans’ outside actuaries.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent degree; and 5-7 years of progressive experience in benefits administration with a large, complex organization, including outsourced benefits administrator/vendor management , or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Intermediate MS Office skills inclusive of PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has supervisory responsibility for approximately 1-3 team members, and is responsible for delegation of responsibilities, performance management, mentoring and coaching of direct reports. and coordination and evaluation of the workgroup.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, CCP or CBP) preferred.
