POSITION OVERVIEW
As the Event & Community Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing our high-impact events to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in creating memorable B2B event marketing experiences, exceptional project management skills, and a deep understanding of the high-tech industry.
This is a full-time, exempt position, based at our offices in Kirkland, Washington.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES
Event Strategy and Planning:
Develop and execute a comprehensive event strategy aligned with overall marketing objectives.
Plan and coordinate logistics for virtual and in-person events, including trade shows, conferences, webinars, internal Adaptiva events, roundtables, and partner and customer events. These include RSA, Midwest Management Summit, Microsoft Ignite, CrowdStrike Fal.Con, Adaptiva Sales Kick Off, Formula 1 customer event, and more.
Project Management:
Manage end-to-end event logistics, including budgeting, vendor selection, contract negotiation, and on-site coordination.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of events.
Content Development:
Work closely with the product marketing and content team to develop engaging and relevant event content, presentations, and collateral for use at events. Ensure consistency in messaging across all event touchpoints.
Promotion and Outreach:
Work closely with the demand generation team to develop and implement promotional campaigns to drive attendance and engagement at events.
Leverage various channels, including social media, email marketing, and partnerships, to maximize event reach.
Support the management of SWAG inventory and stores for internal and external audiences and events.
Lead Generation and Measurement:
Implement lead generation strategies before, during, and after events.
Utilize analytics tools to measure the success of events and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Community Management:
Cultivate relationships with endpoint management and security industry influencers, partners, and event organizers to enhance the company’s presence in the high-tech B2B sector. Create digital channels and pathways to interact with and provide value to the IT Community, including Microsoft MVPs, endpoint security and IT operations professionals, and Adaptiva customer and partners.
