Actalent Looking for Test And Verification Engineer at Houston, Texas Full Time

Job Description:

My client is looking for a Lead Test & Verification Engineer to join their Aerospace Engineer company. This will be primarily working with their Space Missions to the moon!

Responsibilities Include:

• Develop hardware test plans and schedules, including the identification of test cases
• Develop hardware test procedures and execute flight hardware tests such as thermal, vibration, shock, acoustic, modal, vacuum, and radiation testing (they do not need this testing experience just integration testing experience)
• Setup and operate test instrumentation and data acquisition systems for spacecraft flight hardware testing
• Hardware level testing primarily integrated testing. There is development and maintains of test articles
• Making sure everything for an upcoming test is in place or any commodities.
• Make sure the personnel is in place
• Documentation after the tests very detailed logs about what is going on. How they are fixing
• Technical leadership
• Working with other teams/individuals. Being comfortable with the authority to ask questions and push back
• Making sure everyone is staying safe.
• Right now the testing team is Greg + 2 interns and a new hire in early June.

Top Skills:

• Common hand tools (i.e. drills)
• Writing and working with procedures is very important
• Documentation of test plans and results

Nice-to-have:

• Python
• Aerospace experience

Educational preference:

• Bachelors degree in engineering
