We have an opportunity for a Human Resources Supervisor at our distribution center in Wilton, New York (40 minutes north of Albany). The HR Supervisor is both a strategic partner and a hands on role that will provide HR support to our team in Wilton. The HR Supervisor is essential to executing our HR initiatives at the distribution center and will foster a collaborative team environment in a service-oriented culture. The HR Supervisor will partner with the HR Manager to be an employee champion and change agent to provide an environment which supports a high performing employee culture to meet current and future business needs. Primary job responsibilities include: Lead, support and encourage Ace Values: Winning, Excellence, Love, Integrity, Gratitude, Humility and Teamwork. Create a positive employee relations environment which enhances strong employee relations and high level performance and lead by example. Responsible for providing assistance in the areas of development for team members (exempt and non-exempt), as well as self-development. Providing oversight of the time and attendance, AP/AR, orientation/onboarding, benefits, and leaves of absence functions. Provide oversight of non-exempt recruiting, and some exempt recruiting, as well as conducting onboarding and new hire orientation activities. Demonstrate knowledge of current local and state employment laws or regulations. Assist and/or conduct employee relations investigations and determine and/or recommend the best corrective action for each situation. Responsible for performance management activities of all team members (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions, and goal setting). Other duties as assigned.
