Responsibilities
The Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible for analysis, calculation, projections and modeling of existing corporate compensation plans. This role provides sophisticated internal analytical expertise related to the corporate compensation & analytics function.
- Works on a variety of projects as assigned in support of company compensation programs.
- Responsible for Ad Hoc Reporting and Project Management as assigned to support the Corporate Compensation & Analytics organization.
- Analyze and ensure effectiveness of compensation programs and assist to develop appropriate models and facilitate design of pay programs and prepare required proposals to all compensation programs.
- Perform analytical studies in incentive and sales compensation, and emerging trends. Recommend policy and/or program changes.
- Partner with Business Operations and Finance team to forecast plan expense and drive performance of the compensation plans through prudent plan design, ongoing review and evaluation.
- Partner with members of the Compensation and Human Resources teams to lead the design, development, communication, implementation and administration of incentive and sales compensation programs. Lead the project team regarding on-going pay administration recommendations and developing communication plans with the internal communications team. This may also involve partnering with and leading external consultants.
- Conduct research, evaluation and analyses of internal and external market research, analyze competitive position and market trends and make recommendations for incentive and sales compensation programs, as needed. Prepare written exhibits, summaries and recommendations incentive and sales compensation plans.
- Participate in complex compensation projects as well as provide guidance and support to other Human Resources team members on compensation and related matters. Work may involve complex analysis of large data sets to provide comprehensive recommendations.
- Develop, prepare and present specialized reports, forecasts, profitability analysis, pricing analysis, other ad-hoc projects and complex financial models
- Ensure optimal level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Responsible for Ad Hoc Reporting and Project Management as assigned to support the Corporate Compensation & Analytics organization.
- Other projects/duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field preferred.
- Requires 1-3 years of experience in HR or Finance; experience specifically with compensation helpful
- Advanced computer skills with Microsoft business applications software, compensation software packages, and HRIS systems – Workday preferably.
- Experience in conducting studies and preparing sound recommendations
- This position may require proof of the COVID-19 Vaccination as a condition of employment
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Strong mathematical aptitude and analysis skills for researching, analyzing, developing, and leading in the implementation of compensation related programs and recommendations.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills in dealing proactively with all levels of internal and external management, vendor, or agency personnel. This includes a high degree of sensitivity and change management abilities to intercultural personal and corporate dynamics.
- Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills. Demonstrated ability to design, communicate and implement compensation programs.
- Ability and track record of consistently designing, launching, executing, and measuring the success of the effective compensation programs that can be operated efficiently.
- Advanced organizational and program and/or project management skills with the ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously.
- Three (3) years directly related work experience involving financial data analysis
- Strong analytical skills and comfortable with large, complex data sets;
- Strong computer skills, especially advanced skills in EXCEL, Powerpoint and financial model building;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines;
- Healthcare experience preferred.
