NOTE: This role is HYRID. Required 1-2 days in our corporate office located in Walnut Creek, CA or Phoenix, AZ.
Summary:
Senior Salesforce Developer will report to the Senior Director of IT in A3SH and he/she will be responsible for designing, coding, implementing, maintaining, and evolving applications, Salesforce solutions and integrations. Work closely with business stakeholders, product managers and developers to deliver robust scalable solutions with competing priorities in an collaborative Agile environment.
Essential Functions
Serves as primary developer for the Salesforce.com environment for technical solution delivery, design and development, configuration, system integration, system architecture, data quality and governance, system and security audits (CPRA/CCPA, SOX, etc.), technical documentation and training, system support and upgrade. (30%)
Translate business requirements and deliver high quality technical solutions that empower the A3SH teams to utilize the Salesforce systems including Sales Cloud, CPQ, Field Service, Service, Knowledge and Community. This includes requirements gathering and analysis, business process modeling, and workflow development. (30%)
Participate in story planning, standups and retrospectives, and system architecture review meetings. Provide user training or demo for Salesforce users to increase user adoption. (20%)
You will also have ownership of testing and change management within the Salesforce solution. (10%)
Manage DevOps, Release Management and CI/CD processes and tools for Salesforce using industry standard best practices. (10%)
Core Job Responsibilities
Works closely with the developer team to ensure that projects are delivered correctly and on time.
Perform Impact analysis in CRM Sales, Marketing, and Field Service Automation domain
Ability to help translate customer requirements into SFDC configuration or solution delivery.
Contribute to successful Design and Delivery of Salesforce related implementations
Create Technical Design, system architecture, and operation readiness documents, and gain approval from the Architecture Review Board.
Demonstrated experience with writing SQL queries and ad hoc reporting.
Experience with Lightning, Apex, VisualForce, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce APIs, SOAP/REST web services, and Javascript
Strong understanding of data structures and data modeling
Able to troubleshoot with debugging skills
Knowledge of Salesforce API’s on how to integrate with 3rd party tools and limitations.
Strong understanding of Release Management process and CI/CD (i.e. Github, Copado, etc.)
EDUCATION, COMPETENCIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
High School degree or experience in related area (Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of hands on Salesforce experience (i.e. Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service, Marketing Cloud, CPQ, Community)
Must have Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II Certification
Preferred Sales Cloud and Service Cloud Certifications
Scrum Certification preferred.
