Job Summary

As the Director of AAA Financial Services, you will have a unique role that encompasses creating the vision and long-term strategy for the AAA Financial vertical including the AAA Preferred Rewards Credit card, AAA Identity Champion, as well as owning and optimizing day-to-day operations and Member Services. This role under the A3 Ventures umbrella is focused on building out and delivering digital-first AAA MWG Member benefits. The ideal candidate will embrace a data-driven approach to finding insights, and understand how to transform business questions into testable hypotheses and actionable recommendations. They will also have the ability to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty, as they find new and innovative ways to grow the business and optimize current and future operations.

Essential Duties

• Develop Long-term Financial Plan:
  Partner with finance and marketing teams to develop an annual, 3-year, 5-year, and beyond financial plan and roadmap to get there. Create a business strategy and expansion plan to deliver on financial metrics.
• Lead Best-in Class Process & Operations:
  Set a culture that reflects “continuous process improvement,” and develop an operations playbook for your ventures. Contribute as needed to the A3 playbook for pilot and launch plans for future venture launches. Identify and pursue business operations, efficiency and process improvement opportunities that create new value for the business
• Be a strong team leader:
  Lead a team of professionals across operations, sales enablement, Member service, and satisfaction.
• Test, Learn, and Iterate:
  Embrace a test & learn mindset for the venture, partnering with marketing to experiment with new product offerings, pricing, bundles and partnerships across the AAA ecosystem to grow the business. Defining the roadmap, analyze results, and make recommendations to ensure a successful impact to our bottom line
• Collaboration:
  You will collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, Finance, and Member Services as well as working across the AAA MWG organization to gain strategic alignment for key initiatives.
• Become a credit card expert:
  With this role you will immerse yourself in the financial services sector and understand the competitive landscape to inform our consumer offering and services and identify opportunities for growth
• Be an identity theft expert:
  With this role you will develop a deep understanding of the IDC Member’s needs, attitudes, and usage of our services. Monitor competitive activities and identify opportunities for growth
• Tracking KPIs & Metrics:
  Review, audit and summarize operational data and provide summaries with recommendations to management.

Knowledge and Skills

• A willingness to get your hands dirty — you enjoy a scrappy, entrepreneurial environment with lots of ambiguity & new challenges

Education and Experience

• Undergraduate degree (required)
• MBA or equivalent experience (preferred)
• 7+ years of experience in finance, strategy consulting, sales operations or related fields
