A DAY IN THE LIFE:
Utilizing tools for financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
You will be regularly and frequently communicate with internal stakeholders.
You will compile financial information and reports, while working closely to track KPI’s.
You will perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
You will analyze financial data and help maintain financial models for decision support.
You will report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
You will work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
You will evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
You will provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization.
You will identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.
You will increase productivity by developing automated reporting / forecasting tools.
You will maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO MOVE YOU TO THE TOP OF THE LIST:
You will want to have a Finance and/or Business Information Systems degree.
You will want to have 1-2 years of experience as a financial/business analyst.
You will want to have strong analytical/problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
You will want to have advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
You will want to have a solid understanding of how different data sources from different systems can be merged.
You will need strong communication skills; both oral and written.

Our client leverages MS Office- Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
