The Vice President, Revenue Cycle will provide centralized management for patient accounting revenue cycle functions within HSS. This position directs, manages and implements programs to ensure efficient operations of the HSS revenue cycle program in order to generate sufficient cash flow to support HSS operations and strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include: identifying, analyzing, reducing and resolving all revenue cycle issues associated with: hospital and professional billing and insurance collections, A/R resolution, guarantor collections, revenue enhancement, cash applications, financial reporting, revenue cycle audits, training and development, information technology performance improvement, and customer service. The Vice President will be responsible for ensuring that annual cash collection targets are achieved. This executive will be responsible for the overall outcomes of the revenue cycle, which may involve patient satisfaction, staff satisfaction, standardized processes, days revenue outstanding and other revenue and expense targets. The Vice President will be responsible for collaborating with other leaders in revenue cycle to achieve and drive improvements. The Vice President will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective relationships with administrative and physician leadership across the multiple sites. In addition, this executive will promote working relationships with key external organizations; this will include other providers, payers, government entities and applicable professional associations.

The Vice President will be a collaborative, results-driven and data-oriented leader with a demonstrated track record of positive impact on the full revenue cycle, within a healthcare provider setting. This individual will work effectively with other revenue cycle stakeholders in finance and reimbursement, information technology, physicians and clinical operations, and case management. This executive will drive the decision-making process by performing detailed cost/benefit analyses, presenting and evaluating solution options and driving consensus among key stakeholders.
