This isan in-office role based out of Austin, TX that will require up to 25% fieldtravel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Communicatesregularly to the CEO
· Actsas the strategic leader of Talent, Training, Catering, and Culinary or otherDepartments that do not yet have an executive level leader, as may be needed.
· Ownsour four operational metrics: Guest Metrics, Margin Performance, ChangeManagement, Retention
· Ensuresproper organizational operational structure is in place for long-term success
· Drivesorganizational sales department success and metrics
· Ownsrestaurant operations, driving continuous improvement
· Ownsthe talent strategy for operations
· Drivesoperational training strategies
· Implementsand measures major operational initiatives, including managing testingenvironments (Test Kitchen, IT, product procurement, etc.)
· Identifiesnew go-to markets opportunities
· Researchesand ensures an optimal competitive position in marketplace
· Sharesand drives our CEO’s organizational goals, making them reality
· Makessure departments are aligned around company objectives
· Championsand upholds culture across all areas of the organization
· Actsas a brand ambassador and face of the corporate executive team
· Developsa strong relationship with Visionary that allows for honest, pragmaticcommunication and vision alignment
· Ownsthe corporate talent acquisition strategy
· Ownstraining strategies for restaurant support center
· Implementsand measures major initiatives cross-functionally
· Protectsthe continuity of the business and serves as interim CEO if needed
· Ensurescontinued organizational adherence to EOS® (Entrepreneurial Operating System).
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
· 3-5+years advancing through GM, DO, or VP of Operations roles
· 5-7+years of restaurant and/or operational to corporate progressive leadership
· Serviceindustry experience (hospitality, hotels, retail, etc.)
· Leadershipin the fast casual / hospitality industry
· Corporateand multi-unit experience
· Extensiveproject management experience
· Successful,provable growth metrics accomplishments in prior roles
· Influencingdirection of company and people through metrics
· Hasgrown and developed organizational leadership/executive teams
· Responsiblefor organizational financial reporting
· Understandssales and growth functions
· Strongwritten and verbal communication skills
Preferred
· Proven,successful history of growing companies with revenues 80M+
· Understandingrestaurant technology (such as internal support systems, software)
· 4-yeardegree in business or finance
· Hasnetwork in Texas
· Continuouslearning (such as certifications, training, etc.)
· Experienceleading training, catering, and/or talent acquisition departments
