GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
The responsibilities of the Clinical Research Coordinator I include working under general direction of the PI to coordinate research studies. S/he coordinates regulatory and compliance activities and monitors laboratory safety. S/he works with research staff to coordinate all laboratory activities including administrative tasks, study visits, and data analysis to ensure that the laboratory is meeting the general goals and commitments of the PI. This effort will be in the form of weekly meetings with the PI, organizing and setting the agenda for weekly group laboratory meetings. The individual will additionally serve a primary role as a research coordinator on clinical research studies within the laboratory. Working under the PI, s/he will be responsible for volunteer pre-screening, scheduling and recruitment as well as administrative duties related to the careful operation of the study protocol, and database (spreadsheet) management and quality assurance. S/he will also assist with the basic setup of the experimental sessions in the MRI scanner and will help situate the volunteers in the scanner. The individual will help oversee the experimental sessions and be available to assist with basic operation of the MRI scanner itself.

EDUCATION:
Field of Study/Additional Specialized Training: Psychology, neuroscience, or premedical science preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Required: Basic experience with Matlab/FSL/FreeSurfer software.
FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY: Indicate financial “scope” information, e.g. size of budget, volume, revenue, etc.
The individual will be responsible for ordering research and office supplies for the lab, monitoring and reviewing scanning and other invoices. S/he will also be responsible for processing all subject remuneration including parking.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work will be conducted in the office space of Buildings 75 and 149, CNY. The work will involve being present in the MRI scanner bays, and will occasionally require helping setup volunteers in the MRI scanner, which may require some lifting and other non-strenuous physical activities.
