The Americas Human Resources Director is a key role in the HR Organization, developing the Company strategies by establishing Human Resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.
The Americas HR designs, plans, and implements human resources programs and policies, including, compensation, benefits, visa/green card processing, employee relations, training, and health and safety programs for the Region. Ensures existing programs in compliance with government regulations and Company Standards.
In the role, the Americas HR Director will liaise with the HRBPs of the different functions, providing with the necessary local drive in process in the following main areas:
Talent Acquisition and On-boarding liaising with the HRBP in charge of the different functions:
Proactively identifies talent needs for all positions within site locations
Execute recruitment, selection and interview strategies for hourly and salary personnel
Drive employee orientation and training for new hires accordingly to Company policy
Talent Development and Performance Management supporting the HRBP in charge of the different functions
Lead succession planning activities for plant locations, working in advance of retirements and promotional moves for hourly and salaried team members
Facilitate performance review process including merit increases and job evaluations. Drive wage and benefits surveys in partnership with Compensation to assess local labor market for competitive analysis to develop local salary structure
Assist with employee development processes including goal setting, result measurement, performance assessment and identifying training requirements including building employee development plans
Maintain regular employee communication programs, including rewards and recognition
Employee Relations:
Proactively assesses monitors and addresses employee issues and concerns.
Implement Company Contractual Standards
Maintain HR documentation and statistical information. Analyze statistical data and reports on all aspects of employment activity to identify causes of personnel problems
Conduct exit interviews and prepares separation notices
Internal Communication:
Internal Communication Process Management according to Company guidelines and local needs/practices
Definition of a fair, equitable and competitive total compensation packages that fit and are aligned to Company’s strategy and business goals and aligned with company guidelines and local market practices
Implementation and management of Merit plan
Definition and management of Benefits Plans
Forecast budget for salary increases
Ongoing research into emerging trends and best practices
Support management of SIP (Sales Incentive Programs)
Safety and Compliance:
Work in partnership with the assigned leadership to maintain commitment to a safe work environment
Ensure workplace safety by conducting safety observations
Participate in EHS activities supporting and promoting the reporting of all health, safety, environmental, near-miss, accident or injury incidents

This is an on site position in Datalogic’s Eugene, OR office.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION (school / specialization): BSc/BA in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MA in Human Resources will be a plus.
LANGUAGES: Fluent English spoken and written
OTHER LANGUAGES: Italian is nice to have
EXPERIENCES: Proven experience as HR Director in an International Company (UK, US preferred)
SPECIFIC KNWOLEDGE and INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY: Full understanding of the way an organization operates to meet its objectives, excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations, thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices. Proficiency with computer software applications, including Microsoft office. SAP or other large scale ERP experience preferred.

Manage work litigations and HR compliance processes
Travel to other office locations periodically.
