GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Clinical Research Assistant I, to be based in the Osher Center’s Mind-Body-Movement Laboratory, will work directly with the Project Manager and Director of the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine to advance the Center by performing a variety of tasks. The Center is based in the Division of Preventive Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. The role of the CRA I is to manage and contribute to the coordination of multiple projects related to the scientific evaluation of a range of integrative therapies (e.g. Tai Chi, acupuncture, chiropractic) targeting multiple populations (e.g., older adults, mild cognitive impairment, chronic pain). Specific tasks will include working with a Project Manager to finalize study protocols, oversee communications with IRBs, recruit patients, administer phone screens, administer informed consent, enroll patients, perform data collection, interpretation, and manuscript preparation, and manage the experience of subjects throughout a study.
