Primary Responsibilities:
The Freight Audit Claim Analyst is responsible for auditing the freight charges from shipments inbound in KeHE distribution centers. The Freight Audit Claim Analyst ensures compliance and maintenance with freight carriers contracted rates; this responsibility also includes identifying and recouping overcharges from the carriers and maintaining communication with KeHE’s freight payment provider. In addition, the Freight Audit Claim Analyst shall process and report all activities associated with the accumulation, filling, and resolution of cargo claims and OS&D reporting for KeHE’s network of distribution centers. This includes the management and utilization of the cargo claims database and Oak systems for administrative purposes, reporting and cost control. In addition, the incumbent will perform basic load planning back fill as needed and department reporting as described by the inbound transportation management team.
