Position: Human Resources Specialist, Onboarding & Employee Experience Specialist
Pay: $21.25/hour
Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday

Behavior Interventions was founded with a mission to provide quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to our families in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. Our team is composed of clinical and administrative team members all focused on creating meaningful change in the lives of those we serve. To assist with our rapid expansion we are seeking an Onboarding Specialist to assist us in onboarding qualified team members to ensure they acclimate to the organization.
Responsibilities: The Onboarding Specialist reports to the Human Resources Supervisor, Onboarding & Employee Experience. Duties include but are not limited to responsibilities listed below.
Develop and implement onboarding procedures for new hires and position transfers:
Conducts an initial pre-hire phone call/meeting to review expectations, timelines, and serves as a support to the pre-hire(s).
Maintains record of pre-hire process and communicates with appropriate team members any delays or concerns with pre-hire timelines.
Audits pre-hire paperwork, provides outreach and support for correcting necessary documents, and escalates concerns relating to pre-hire documentation to the department supervisor or employee relations manager.
Alerts the assigned talent acquisition and staffing specialist(s) when a pre-hire has completed all necessary pre-employment steps.
Completes new hire processing when a pre-hire is approved to begin employment.
Coordinate employee orientations and new hire prerequisite training.
Establish resources for new hires and transfers including: ID badges, company accounts, etc.
Complete onboarding surveys and interviews to assess the employee’s overall experience onboarding with the company.
Seeks opportunities to improve overall pre-hire process, employee onboarding experience and efficiencies. Streamlines procedures utilizing software programs established within the company (ie. ADP, G-Suite, CentralReach) or new programs. Submits or discusses improvement recommendations or proposals to leadership that includes pertinent information to support informed decision making.
Oversees employee’s ongoing experience with the organization in collaboration with supervisors:
Responds timely to employee inquiries or requests for support by connecting them with the appropriate resources (ie. site pages, policies and procedures, other team members)
Manages employee exit procedures:
Completes exit survey/interview with applicable employees.
Ensures all exit procedures occur timely including: securing of company accounts, establishing email forwarding and auto-response, procurement of company equipment, updating personnel files.
Maintains accurate record of employee terminations electronically (G-Suite, ADP, CentralReach).
Provides general support to the human resources and talent management team:
Maintains current knowledge and supports the dissemination of information on Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Interprets, communicates and advises on human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations under the guidance of the department supervisor and employee relations specialist.

Requirements:
Highschool diploma; Associate’s degree preferred
Minimum of 12 months of human resource administration experience; preferably with employee onboarding.
High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
Excellent customer service and negotiation skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and within teams
Organizational/time management/prioritization
Proficient technical/computer skills, i.e. ability to successfully utilize G-suite applications, learning management systems (CentralReach), HRIS (ADP) and other electronic software programs
Experience in or understanding of Behavior Analysis or related field preferred
