*THE POSITION*
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, screening and recommending candidates for positions. This person must understand, model and represent RISE’s employment value proposition. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will identify opportunities to build applicant pools, establish trust and partnerships with hiring managers, identify potential “fit” through effective interviewing and testing, effectively administer the interviewing and Job Offer Process, and participate in providing a positive hiring experience. Providing assistance with developing and executing recruitment plans and strategies are primary responsibilities to ensure hiring goals are met with the best possible talent.
*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS*
* Provide input to ensure that teams consist of diverse, qualified individuals
* Compile lists of most-suitable candidates by assessing application information
* Assist with planning interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews
* Represent the company at recruiting events (i.e., college job fairs), providing company/job information and screening applicants to build a strong candidate pipeline
* Participate in presentations at colleges, attend student group meetings, and increase college awareness of the company before and after career fairs
* Create offer letters, maintain applicant tracking systems, recruiting reports and other staffing administration functions as needed
*POSITION EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS*
* High School Diploma or GED
* Minimum of two years of experience in a talent acquisition or similar role
* Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
* Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
* A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within the organization
