Overview:
NPH is hiring a Talent Acquisition Onboarding Specialist who will partner closely with facility Human Resources and Hiring Managers with the onboarding of their new hires. They will oversee the lifecycle from offer letter to first day of employment of the new hire. The TA Onboarding Specialist will assist the organization in the successful identification and onboarding of newcomers, ensuring a positive experience for all involved in the hiring process.
Responsibilities:
Essential Standard Job Functions
Assists in the recruitment process by ordering and tracking background checks, drug screens and onboarding paperwork. Maintains continuous contact with new employees after an offer is made to ensure they complete all necessary processes.
Ensure all documentation is completed and/or signed by new hire, including items such as employment applications and bonus agreements.
Drafts and sends out offer letters in applicant tracking system, iCIMS. Sends through approval process when above threshold.
Communicate start date details information to new hires.
Provide new hire updates to Facility Human Resources and Hiring Managers.
Basic knowledge of our policies to answer questions presented by candidates coming onboard.
Complete PAF forms to send to payroll for processing.
Responds to high volume of phone calls and e-mails.
Other duties as assigned
Specialized Knowledge and Skills Requirements
Knowledge of HRIS or Talent Systems, such as iCIMS, ADP, Greenhouse, Taleo, or related systems.
Ability to work with sensitive, proprietary data & information while maintaining confidentiality.
Knows and applies applicable employment laws and regulations, including FLSA, EEO Standards and state requirements.
Expert in customer service, prioritization, and proven ability to communicate at all levels of the business.
Exercises sound judgment in responding to inquiries; understands when to route inquiries to next level.
Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames. Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes.
Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
Capable of working within established policies, procedures and practices prescribed by the organization.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Experience:
1-2 years of job-related experience in Talent Aquisition, Recruiting and/or Human Resources.
Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Location in the Central or Eastern Time Zones strongly preferred.
