Ivory Medical is seeking local, daily drive-in Phlebotomists available to support PRN blood draw and specimen collection events January 19 & 20, 2023. We are anticipating similar area events to become available in the near future scheduled (8:00am – 5:00pm).

Opportunity Specifics:
Contract Type: Allied Health Travel PRN (Phlebotomy)
Available Dates: January 19 & 20, 2023
Schedule: (8:00am – 5:00pm)
Candidate Responsibilities:
The Phlebotomist collects and processes quality specimens in a safe manner in alignment with core policies and procedures. Aids in the delivery of exceptional patient care. Assists with training and auditing of behaviors and performance, as assigned.
Follows all established specimen collection, labeling, transportation, and handling procedures.
Responsible for high customer satisfaction through professional and ethical conduct.
Performs job responsibilities in an efficient and effective manner.
Performs clerical duties as requested.
Demonstrates engagement with achieving department goals and continuous improvement.

Knowledge and ability to perform laboratory protocols and procedures in accordance with regulations.
Analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Ability to comprehend and communicate instructions.
Ability to multitask.
Skill in the use of computers and related software applications.
Knowledge of safety and infection control standards.

Candidate Requirements:
Active Phlebotomy Technician (PBT)
Active PBT Certification from: ASCP, NPA, ASPT, NCCT, NHA, AMT, NAHP, AMCA, AAH or ACA.
1+ Year of Experience (preferred)
