JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for supporting the human resources team in all areas of human resources for organization with multiple clinic locations, supporting the company mission and core values. This position will support recruitment and talent management, employee relations, payroll, benefits and performance management. Responsible for human resources support for all employees of the organization to ensure efficiency of the team and operational support. May also provides support leading and coordinating training of newly onboarded employees throughout the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead investigations and partner with employees/leaders related to employee relations matters.
Advise HR Leader risks to the organization through exit interview data and other key identifiers including employee relation matters
Administer and support employee benefit plans
Assist HRIS in running reports, providing analysis and recommendation based on the information gathered.
Support Talent Acquisition Specialist on an as needed basis
Conduct employee onboarding and new hire orientation as well as other training and development initiatives
Assist in driving company culture through employee engagement
Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leave of absence and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
Undertake tasks around performance management
Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, such as time to hire and employee turnover rates
Assist and coach managers in the annual employee performance reviews process
Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities
Ensure compliance with labor regulations
Provide back up support for payroll processing
Respond to employees queries and resolve issue in a timely and professional manner
Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven experience as an HR Generalist 3-5 years
Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. Paycom) will be a plus
Exemplary communication skills
Solid problem-solving and team management abilities
Aptitude in problem-solving
Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
Additional HR training will be a plus
Excellent Time management skills
Aptitude with computers to use email, excel, and Microsoft
Ability to lead by example
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in human resources within multiple healthcare clinics highly desired
Self directed and willing to take initiative
Open minded to change and able to lead team through change
Decisive, not afraid to make a decision
Willing to roll up sleeves and pitch in with staff and doctors to solve problems
Team oriented with a collaborative approach to problem solving
Quantitative focus, creates a fact based, no blame culture
Patient focused
Proven ability to prioritize and organize
Committed to continuous performance improvement
Function effectively in a fast-paced work environment
EDUCATION:
Bachelors degree in business administration, human resources or a relevant field preferred
PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
