The Queens Ambulatory Pavilion
Phenomenal opportunity to serve as a Pulmonologist for Mount Sinai in our Mount Sinai Queens Hospital and Ambulatory Pavilion in Astoria, Queens, one of the most dynamic neighborhoods in New York City.
East 34th Street (Outpatient Pulmonology):
The 34th Street District is comprised of 31 busy blocks in the heart of Manhattan. It is a working district, with over 100,000 office workers coming in daily. It is a gateway to the city for visitors from New Jersey, Long Island, and the entire eastern seaboard. It is a magnet for tourists and fans of music and sports. In addition, of course, it is one of the greatest shopping districts in New York.
The Attending will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and patient satisfaction. In addition, the physician will lead by example, actively participating in patient care and bringing out the best in his/her colleagues.
MSM/MSW:
The position will include outpatient and inpatient work with an emphasis on the practice of Pulmonary Medicine. The Attending will contribute to the clinical, educational, and research missions of the Division, and will have opportunities to work within the system-wide Pulmonary Division. Mount Sinai Morningside and West have storied traditions of excellence in providing healthcare highly responsive to the needs of the local populations while also training superb academic physicians.
MSBI:
The position will include outpatient and inpatient work with an emphasis on the practice of Pulmonary Medicine. The outpatient work will be conducted in the Mount Sinai-National Jewish Health Respiratory Institute which is dedicated to the delivery of patient-centered, value-based interdisciplinary care for ambulatory and in-patients with simple and complex respiratory disease. The Respiratory Institute provides management by Attendings that are expert in General Pulmonary, Sleep Medicine, Allergy and Immunology, Thoracic Surgery, Pulmonary Hypertension, Bronchiectasis and Cardiology. Our ambulatory site located on the campus of Mount Sinai Union Square manages over 15,000 visits annually. The Attending will contribute to the clinical, educational, and research missions of the Division, and will have opportunities to work within the system-wide Pulmonary Division and the Department of Medicine.
