Job Description
Summary:
Responsible for developing, recommending, and implementing policies and programs for all major human resources functions, such as compensation administration, benefits administration, payroll, recruitment, development and training, employee relations, performance management, maintenance of personnel records and submission of required federal, state, and local reports relating to personnel matters.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead an effective HR department and team that includes adherence to HR regulations and laws, and effective management of HR processes, payroll, benefits, compensation, talent acquisition, associate relations, talent management/development, performance management, and HRIS.
Design, identify and implement leadership/management, high potential, and other training and development programs to drive achievement of Company strategies and objectives.
Oversee the design and administration of compensation and benefits programs.
Strategically design and monitor workforce planning and staffing related programs and initiatives with a strong emphasis on building and nurturing a diverse, inclusive and equitable company culture.
Oversee all HR record-keeping systems and record retention processes.
Direct and guide the recruitment, interviewing, testing, placement, appraisal, transfer, promotion, demotion, and termination of associates.
Assist and communicate with the CAO, CEO, other Company executives, the Board of Directors and other key audiences on HR strategy.
Provide advice and guidance on the interpretation of personnel policies as they relate to individuals and to company objectives.
Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Strong judgment and decision making
Proven ability to implement process improvement
Skillful at establishing priorities and problem solving
Strong strategic thinking skills
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Education and/or Experience:
10-15 years of related strategic leadership experience, preferably in large for-profit company
Human Resource experience in the financial industry
M&A experience – due diligence, integration, etc.
Previous supervisory experience required
Master’s Degree preferred
Computer and Software Skills:
Skilled in operation of a personal computer and Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
