Role Summary:
As a QA Analyst, you will be responsible for the verification and validation of new features, functionalities, and enhancements for Saks Digital e-commerce websites, back-end and internal applications. You will create test scenarios, develop and execute test cases, analyze test results, detect and document defects, and validate bug fixes. You will apply techniques and creativity in solving moderate to complex problems.
Key Qualifications:
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and, if hired, present proof of vaccination prior to beginning employment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or any related field of study
Software testing certifications, preferred
QA/testing tool training and certification, preferred
Ability to estimate test effort
Ability to identify and track defects
Ability to monitor/measure testing progress
Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Proficient in software testing methodologies and software development life cycle process
Good understanding of the various testing techniques
Good documentation skills
Familiarity with Windows, Mac and mobile devices
Agile testing methodology
Understanding of BDD/TDD
Understanding of automation scripting languages
At least 2 years of cumulative manual and/or automation testing experience
Minimum 2 year experience in analyzing business requirements and use cases
Minimum 2 year experience with web-based applications and e-commerce site
Proficient on system testing techniques and testing tools
Possess confidence in making judgment calls in resolving problems
Experience with any internet programming, preferred
Experience with relational and document-oriented databases
Familiarity with UNIX
Experience with cloud-based applications
Experience with test automation using Selenium and/or related automation framework, preferred

Role Description:
Perform various types of test utilizing techniques such as exploratory, functional, black box, browser compatibility, usability, end-to-end, user acceptance, service level and regression
Develop and document test cases based on business requirements, functional and technical requirements, user stories and business use cases
Identify test approach for business, functional and technical requirements
Participate in developing test strategy
Use test management applications/tools
Troubleshoot and triage issues, make judgment calls in solving problems
Identify, prioritize, document and track defects
Work with database queries, parse data, read log files
Provide defects reports, test status updates and QA signoffs
Collaborate with cross functional teams
Provide QA support for scheduled deployments/releases
