Panamint Springs is focused on providing a positive guest experience to all visitors who come through our family owned and operated desert resort. Whether stopping through for gas, lunch at our restaurant and bar, or looking for a cozy place to sleep, the guest experience is our main priority.
We are looking for someone with a willingness to work and go above and beyond to fill the position of a maintenance worker for our family owned and operated resort.
A successful candidate will have many of the following skills and abilities:
This job will require candidates to attend to maintenance needs in our motel rooms, restaurant, general store and campground. These needs may include but are not exclusive to repairing light sockets and tending to any other electrical or carpentry needs, and plumbing issues.
This position also requires applicants to take on-call shifts for guest needs in our motel rooms and campground. Additionally, applicants in this role are required to work weekends, as they are our busier days, and holidays. It is suggested that hired candidates come equipped with their own tools. This is not required, but ideal. Candidates must also have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license, have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, and must be able to read and write in English.
Maintenance team members must be able and willing to communicate with other departments and department heads of the resort regarding maintenance requests/needs. Applicants must be familiar with Microsoft Excel and Google Docs. Furthermore, applicants must be able to provide useful visitor information for guests of the resort and guests passing through the National Park. Training will be provided to familiarize successful candidates with major National Park Destinations and directions.
