We are excited to announce that OBHG is now offering a Clinic + Call program in Placerville, CA.
CNM needed:
- Marshall Medical Center (Placerville, CA)
This hospitalist role includes:
- 5 on 10 off
- 1st call with Dr. back up
- See unassigned hospital pts, emergencies and 1st call with an OB-GYN back up
- CNMs are full day at the clinic plus there will be 1 CNM in charge of low-risk deliveries at the hospital
- Competitive hourly rate discussed upon interest.
- Clinic Hours:
- Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. + night call No clinic on weekends
- Weekend: on-call, within 30 minutes of the hospital.
- Travel & lodging reimbursement provided.
Marshall Medical Center is a standalone community hospital with a busy OB clinic, OBHG has partnered with Marshall Medical and help them improve patient outcomes. We will bring midwifery services to the community, support volume growth, and provide coverage for antepartum triage. OBHG will provide 24/7 OB/GYN and CNM call coverage plus additional CNM clinic coverage during the week and no clinic coverage on the weekends. You will care for the assigned obstetrics and gynecology patients who visit women’s clinics connected to our partner hospitals, also oversee a Certified-Nurse Midwife. This role includes on-call duty on weeknights and weekends. You will not be required to stay on hospital premises when on call but will need to be within a 30-minute drive of the facility. Lodging will be provided or lodging costs will be covered by OBHG. (The hospital sees about 450 deliveries per year and received an “A” rating by Leapfrog for patient safety + Baby-Friendly designation by the World Health Organization and UNICEF Community Information).
