Summary:
The Procurement Operations Manager is responsible for strategizing and negotiating with suppliers and vendors to acquire the most cost-effective deals and reduce procurement expenses. This will be accomplished by establishing and managing effective programs that contribute to meeting the company’s forecasted sales targets. This role is also responsible for identifying current and future market needs for customers and industries in North America and Latin America. The Procurement Operations Manager provides direction to the various departments within Southern Polymer to maximize opportunities and growth.
The responsibilities also include providing input in creating the short- and long-term goals for the business as well as supervising the sales, marketing and CSR team to achieve the company’s sales and profitability targets. The position requires leadership and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders to influence directly and indirectly to maximize the company’s sales and profitability.
