Salary Range: 66,640.36 – 80,801.43
Position Summary
This position is responsible for assuring compliance with the Americans with Disabilities (ADA) Act, Section 504 and Title II, and other related sections and titles, such as, Sections 501, 503, 508, related WCAG standards, and Titles I and IV of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and other federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to persons with disabilities.
Reporting to the Executive Director of Compliance, the ADA/504 Officer is responsible coordinating and tracking the Colleges progress of its policies, rules, and procedures, and state and federal laws relating to persons with disabilities, investigates allegations of discrimination and non-compliance under ADA/504 and other related ADA sections and titles, and the College’s grievance procedure for non-employees and students with disabilities. Also conducts audits of ADA and Section 504 processes, files all necessary reports, and provides consultative services to Accessibility Services and other constituents.
Essential Duties
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college with a focus in post-secondary education, secondary education, psychology, human relations, human resources, social work, or related field. Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in accessibility or disability services, understanding ADA/504 and other related sections and titles, regulations and related laws, resolution of disability related grievances, conducting investigations, responding to ADA/504 inquiries from the OCR and other regulatory agencies, and accessing processes and procedures. Any combination of education and experience may be considered suitable to satisfy the minimum hiring requirements.

Physical Requirements: Ability to communicate. Ability to drive between campuses. Ability to stand, bend, reach and lift 20 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
Work Schedule: M-F, 8-5 and as needed. Eligible to work a hybrid schedule in the office and remotely.
