About the Job:
As a Social Media Manager at Alike, you will work closely with our Marketing team to assist in the development and execution of our organic social media strategies across various platforms. You will play a crucial role in increasing our online presence, engaging with our audience, and supporting our marketing efforts.
Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation:
· Ideate and create engaging and visually appealing social media content, including graphics, images, reels, and videos.
· Write compelling captions and copy to accompany posts.
· Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop content ideas.
2. Social Media Management:
· Monitor and manage social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, etc.,) to ensure consistent posting and engagement.
· Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries from followers in a professional and timely manner.
· Stay up to date with social media trends and best practices.
3. Analytics and Reporting:
· Assist in tracking and analyzing the performance of social media campaigns.
· Prepare regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
4. Community Engagement:
· Foster a sense of community by engaging with followers, promoting discussions, and participating in
relevant online communities and forums.
5. Research:
· Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities for our brand.
· Provide recommendations based on research findings.
6. Collaboration:
· Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure social media efforts align with overall marketing strategies.
· Assist in the coordination of social media campaigns and promotions.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
· Minimum 3-4 years of experience in social media management.
· Strong passion for social media marketing and a basic understanding of social media platforms.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficiency in graphic design and photo/video editing tools.
· Proficiency in Canva is a must.
· Basic knowledge of social media analytics and tracking tools.
· Creative thinker with a strong attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· A proactive and adaptable attitude towards learning and taking on new challenges.
