Warehouse Logistics Manager:
We are searching for a warehouse logistics manager to assist us in running our warehouse efficiently and safely. Receiving and organizing the facilities exclusive goods are among the many tasks in this role. The purpose of this role is to control the complete order cycle and enhance the corporate growth, while also ensuring long-term viability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities/ Duties:
· Quality, volume, inventory level, delivery schedules, transportation costs, and efficiency are all overseen and monitored.
· Managing start-up warehouse, consolidating smaller facilities, categorizing commodities, planning paths, and handling shipments are all tasks that must be completed
· Organizing workflow and ensuring that employees understand their responsibilities.
· Manage a small warehouse team, supporting an open & inclusive environment through team collaboration, training & coaching
· Ability to give work direction, resolve problems, and set deadlines to ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks.
· Operating following all applicable laws, rules, ISO requirements, and policies
· Managing the transportation, storing, and distribution of products or materials
· Plan and allocate resources for warehouse receiving and shipping processes to ensure deliveries are promptly processed
· Creating an environment that supports open and pleasant team collaboration by establishing goals and conveying the firm’s goals or objectives to your direct reports
· Fixing delivery discrepancies or delays
· Responsible for monitoring and upholding inventory accuracy through cycle count process, investigation of variances, and quarterly and annual physical inventories
· Taking care of shipping or transportation-related inquiries or compliance issues
· Assuring that shipping/receiving documentation is well-maintained, current, and compliant
· Develop & maintain rental operations to include: check in/check out of equipment, vehicles and completing daily yard checks
· Ensure rental equipment is properly maintained, maintenance according to company and DOT standards
· A bachelor’s degree in business management, logistics, supply chain management, or relevant fields is preferred
· Minimum 2 years of expertise in a similar role
· Ability to handle large workloads, juggle various tasks simultaneously and detailed oriented
· Outstanding analytical, strong problem-solving, self-management, and organizational abilities
· Excellent oral and written communication skills, great people management skills are strongly desired to effectively train & manage staff while building rapport with other departments and company partners
· Good computer proficiency, which includes the ability to use Microsoft Office software and other systems and video communication systems
· Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software.7
