This position is FULL-TIME , IN-OFFICE in DTLA – this is not a remote position.
About Us:
We are family-owned beauty brand. Born in 2017 , Skin Gym is a beauty tools focused beauty brand sold in major retailers. We also have a sister brand, PaintLab – press-on nails and lashes and sold in Walmart. We are a small team working out of our DTLA office, this person will be joining our our social team which has 2 social media coordinators. We create amazing products that is sold in retailers such us ULTA , Walmart , Macy’s and many more.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Social Media Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing social media strategies. This role will be responsible for posting engaging content, coordinating social media campaigns, monitoring social interactions, and analyzing performance metrics. The goal will be to increase brand visibility, drive user engagement, and keep us on track with the latest trends in social media.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Content Creation and Management:
• Schedule and post compelling content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads, Pinterest, Twitter, and YouTube in collaboration with the marketing, creative and e-comm teams.
• Ensure consistency in brand voice, style, and messaging across all social media channels.
• Update and maintain all profile highlights, shops, settings, etc. across all platforms.
• Assist with content strategy across all channels, leading meetings with the team to develop creative briefs that help build awareness for the brand, attract attention of different audiences and also drive sales.
• Be comfortable on-camera to lead lives, make content for the brands across IG & TikTok.
• You must be comfortable in producing and editing both photo and videos on each platform.
• You must know the daily trending sounds on TikTok , follow the trends in social media, fashion, lifestyle/pop culture, and appropriately apply that knowledge to create viral content.
• Assist with flat lays, product photos, and “behind the scenes” visual content.
• Assist with the creation of a content calendar for social media

• A customer centric approach to communication. Comfortable shooting both in-house and on location.
• Able to effectively prioritize workloads & remain calm in pressurized circumstances. Agility in a fast-paced environment is key here. If you have the following skillsets & experience, you’re perfect for this role.
• Experience in a professional work setting creating the photography and videography for both organic and paid via Social Media specific to the following platforms Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube.
• Ability to build light sets, operate cameras, use audio equipment, and manage all physical elements of creating photography and videography for a national brand.
• Experience using photography and videography editing tools such as Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Mac OS and others. Ability to shoot within the wide range of parameters required to deliver optimized content per Social Media channel i.e. vertical video, square video, Lives,etc.
